PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external application agent having excellent effects by using a component derived from natural sources.

SOLUTION: The external application agent having an excellent instantaneous effect and sustainability of the effect is obtained by including 15-50 wt.% of an extract of cat's claw (Uncaria tomentosa of family Rubiaceae) and shea butter for achieving the purpose. Handleability, application feeling and application effect are easily attainable by adopting an external application cream or an external application gel produced by using the agent.
