PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map information collecting system for accurately collecting map information as much as possible. SOLUTION: The map information collecting system A1 includes: an image recognition means 14 recognizing a prescribed object from a vehicle outside image of a plurality of viewpoints; a vector information calculation means 15 calculating the vector information of the movement of an object in the vehicle outside image corresponding to at least one viewpoint out of the plurality of viewpoints; an object location estimation means 16 estimating the location of the object on the basis of the vector information of the object and the traveling information/position information of a vehicle; an object appearance estimation means 17 estimating the appearance of the object in a prescribed range of the other vehicle outside image on the basis of the location of the object estimated from one vehicle outside image; a same object determination means 18 for determining that the object recognized in the one vehicle outside image and the other vehicle outside images is one and the same object when an object is recognized within a prescribed range in the other estimated vehicle outside image.
