PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal wear reduction performance improving agent for giving wear preventing performance to base oil and to provide an industrial or automotive lubrication oil composition having excellent metal wear reduction performance. SOLUTION: A thiodipropionic diester and a thiodipropionic monoester are incorporated in at least one kind of the base oil selected from a group comprising mineral oil, animal and vegetable oil and synthetic oil.
