<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology capable of installing a detection device without getting in a region for measuring the displacement of a ground surface and having less constraints than traditional technologies in terms of an installation location and equipment to be installed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The installation device is directed for installing a landslide detection device for detecting the displacement of a surface on the surface of the ground. The installation device includes: a support section mounted on a flying body that flies in the air, operable under a remote control by a pre-determined operation section and that supports a hanging section for hanging the ground sliding detection device, between a support state to support the hanging section and a non-support state to cause the ground sliding detection device to fall by releasing the support of the hanging section; a communications section which receives support section-control information for controlling the support section to be output from the pre-determined operation section; and a controller that controls the support body so that support modes of the support section represent the support state or non-support state based on the support section-control information received by the communications section.
