PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus whose cover body is hardly opened and deformed even when a cord of an article with the cord stored in a storage chamber, is pulled. SOLUTION: In a digital camera related to one embodiment, a lock mechanism includes a pair of engaging parts 41 and 42 disposed in a front end part 32 of a cover body 3 and a pair of parts to be engaged 43 and 44 which are disposed in a camera body 2 and allow the pair of engaging parts 41 and 42 to be engaged therewith and disengaged therefrom with the cover body 3 closed. The pair of engaging parts 41 and 42 can be moved back and forth between forward positions for engagement with the pair of parts 43 and 44 to be engaged and backward positions for disengagement from the pair of parts 43 and 44 to be engaged. A notch 21 for pulling out a cord A1 of a coupler A stored in a storage chamber 1 with the cover body 3 closed is formed in a position interposed between the pair of parts 43 and 44 to be engaged, at an aperture edge 12 of the storage chamber 1 of the camera body 2.
