摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display and image adjusting method for optimizing image quality of an image to be displayed. <P>SOLUTION: Image processing engines (A-ch)16, (B-ch)17 are processors for performing digital processing of image signals, are each configured independently, and perform various kinds of processes independently. Accordingly, the image signals are independently adjusted in each of the image processing engines, combined thereafter in an overlay device 20 and output as an image signal corresponding to one image. Memories (A-ch)18, (B-ch)19 are connected to the image processing engines (A-ch)16, (B-ch)17, respectively. During an adjustment mode, independent images processed by the two image processing engines are simultaneously displayed on an FPD (flat panel display) 22. Here, since not still images but moving images are displayed, adjustments such as I/P conversion, three-dimensional YC separation processing, DNR processing, super resolution processing and the like can be easily performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
