PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper receiver capable of making a sheet either in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction into a protruded shape facing downward during drop, and thus aligning and stacking the sheet. SOLUTION: In this paper receiver 10, the conveyed rectangle sheet 100 is received, and dropped in a space 1 rectangle in a plane view surrounded by a right side wall 31, left side wall 32, conveyance direction upstream side wall 33, and conveyance direction downstream side wall 34 on a base 2, and then, stacked in the space 1 on the base 2. In four corners in a plane view in the upper part of the space 1, guide members 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D are arranged respectively. The guide members 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D contact with four corners 101A, 101B, 101C, 101D of the paper 100 dropping in the space 1 from below, thereby delaying the drop of the corners 101A, 101B, 101C, 101D.
