PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit slurry components contained in pumping water from remaining in a heat exchange chamber in which pumping water absorbing heat from cooling water flowing a cooling water chamber and cooling a motor flows. SOLUTION: In a submergible pump 10, an agitation force by an agitation projection part 92 and an impact force accompanying collision with the agitation projection part 92 act on slurry component S respectively when the pumping water W flows into the heat exchange chamber 66 if the slurry component S comprising fine solid particles and gel material is contained in the pumping water. When large size slurry component S is contained in the pumping water, such slurry component S is crushed by the agitation force and the impact force from the agitation projection part 92 and is fragmented. Consequently, it is effectively prevented that the slurry component S flows into the heat exchange chamber 66 as it is in the large size, and that the same is precipitated.
