<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray computed tomography apparatus which can appropriately and quickly perform work such as puncture under multi-slice CT fluoroscopy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The X-ray compute tomography apparatus includes an image processing means to carry out difference operation of at least one image among a plurality of tomographic images reconstructed by a reconstruction unit (36) from specific images to generate difference images. The difference image obtained by the image processing means and the other image among the plurality of images reconstructed by the reconstruction unit (36) are arranged and displayed side by side. The specific image is an image at the same tomographic position reconstructed first by the reconstruction unit (36) or an image at the same tomographic position reconstructed immediately before or before a predetermined time.
