PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure and a gasket applicable even to a narrow space with a simple constitution, and superior in quality performance. SOLUTION: This sealing structure has a first member 20 having a first flow passage 21, a second member 30 having a second flow passage 31, and an annular rubber-like elastic body gasket 10 for sealing a joint between the first member 20 and the second member 30, and is characterized in that an annular cutout part 23 is arranged in an opening end part 22 of the first flow passage 21 in the first member 20, and the gasket 10 is installed in the cutout part 23, and is arranged in a compressed state by a planar part among the cutout part 23 and a planar part in an outer wall surface of the second member 30, and both a close contact surface 11 to the planar part of the cutout part 23 in the gasket 10 and a close contact part 12 to the planar part of the second member 30 are constituted of a plane.
