<p>Provided is a method for detecting a steel hardened texture wherein the cross section of a steel ingot sample is polished, the sample temperature is heated to 40 to 90°C, the polished surface of the sample is then brought into contact with a corrosive solution, and the polished surface is corroded. Furthermore, the temperature of the corrosive solution is heated to 40 to 90°C and then the polished surface of the sample is brought into contact with the corrosive solution. It is possible to maintain a high level of corrosion performance when a high-temperature corrosive solution is used, and to promote electrochemical corrosion in a short amount of time and expose an obviously hardened texture using the potential difference due to solute concentration differences, without reducing the temperature of the corrosive solution, even after the sample has been brought into contact with the corrosive solution. Preferably the temperature of the corrosive solution is -10 to -5°C to + 5°C or greater with respect to the temperature of the sample.</p> |
