<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication processing apparatus which allows a new transmitting/receiving device to be easily added without restrictions on the number of connected transmitting/receiving devices due to the number of connection ports of an interface. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Communication modules 11 and 12 and transmitting/receiving devices 20-1 and 20-2 are connected via a LAN board 13 and a hub 14. In this case, a channel connection control program (server program) that employs a client server system is executed on a CPU 131 and a control processing program (client program) is executed on the transmitting/receiving devices, whereby bidirectional data communication is performed between the communication modules 11 and 12 connected via a serial cable, and the transmitting/receiving devices 20-1 and 20-2 connected via a LAN cable.
