<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a construction capable of sufficiently carrying a reaction force in interposing a rotor 1 by both pads 21a, 22a at the time of braking in a construction without a pawl of a caliper 2b. <P>SOLUTION: A disc brake is enabled to displace the outer pad 21a along with the caliper 2b in axial direction by coupling an outer diameter side portion of a pressure plate 28 of the outer pad 21a to tip surface of a bridge portion 23a of the caliper 2b by a bolt 24a. In addition, a tip portion of a guide pin 4a fixed to a support 3a is inserted into an engagement hole formed on inner diameter side rather than a joint with the bridge portion 23a at both ends of circumferential direction of the pressure plate 28. Then, a part of the reaction force is carried by engagement of the engagement hole with the tip portion of the guide pin 4a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
