POLYPHENYLENE SULFIDE-BASED RESIN FILM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyphenylene sulfide-based resin film having excellent handleability and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The polyphenylene sulfide-based resin film having a thickness of 20-100μm, containing a syndiotactic polystyrene phase which is distributed island-shaped and having an average aspect ratio in the cross-section parallel to thickness direction of≥10 is formed by biaxially stretching a formed body obtained by extruding a polyphenylene sulfide-based resin composition comprising 0.8-30 pts.mass syndiotactic polystyrene blended in 100 pts.mass polyphenylene sulfide at a stretching temperature of 86-100°C and a stretching ratio of 3.0-4.0 folds in the vertical direction and 2.4-3.4 folds in the traverse direction.
