发明名称 METHOD AND INSTRUMENT FOR LASER MAGNETIC IMMUNOASSAY
摘要 PURPOSE:To permit easy and quick screening of a labeling material by magnetism and screening of the already reacted antigen-antibody complex by a mass difference by using hyper-fine magnetic material particles as the labeling material and adding nonmagnetic material particles to the antigens or antibodies reacting with specimens. CONSTITUTION:A photodetector 24 measures the intensity of scattered light. Since the scattered light is relatively weak, a measurement range is confined by providing a slit 25 between the specimen and the photodetector 24 and photodetecting sensitivity and measurement accuracy are improved by providing a condenser lens 26 as well. On the other hand, the photodetector 27 measures scattering on the optical axis of laser light 21 transmitted through the specimen. A filter 28 for controlling the quantity of the laser light 21 to be projected to the specimen is provided between the laser light 21 and the specimen. The projection angle of the laser light 21 is so selected as to eliminate the influence of reflection of the laser light 21 on the water surface of the well A. For example, the measuring instrument is so constituted that the laser beam 22 enters the water surface in a well A at 60 deg. angle therewith and the photodetector 24 to receive the scattered light 23 measures the intensity of the scattered light radiated in the direction of 45 deg. with the water surface in the well A.
