<p>The invention relates to a firing mechanism for a sporting rifle. The invention comprises a piston (21), a rigid section (14), a trigger (5) and a trigger lock (6). The invention also includes: a wall (27) which is connected to the rigid section and which includes the trigger and lock on one of the faces thereof, the other face being free; a first lug (10) connected to the trigger; and a cap partially covering the trigger and the lock, said cap including an opening (11) in the form of a slide enabling the first lug to pass therethrough and travel along same; and a slide, arranged above the cap, such that when the barrel is broken down the aforementioned slide prevents the first lug from travelling along the opening, thereby immobilising the trigger, and such that when the barrel is closed the slide enables the first lug to travel along the opening.</p> |
