PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device having improved performance of recognizing a hazardous object. SOLUTION: The driving support device 1 for warning a driver of events around a vehicle includes: a plurality of sound output means 13a, 13b, 13c and 13d arranged at a plurality of different positions of the vehicle to output sound, an information displaying means 12 for displaying information on the hazardous object, and control means 14 and 15 for changing positions where a sound image is localized by the plurality of sound outputting means 13a, 13b, 13c and 13d and controlling the outputs of the plurality of sound output means 13a, 13b, 13c and 13d such that the sound image is moved according to the direction of the information displaying means 12.
