PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece holding device capable of securely fixing a workpiece and facilitating the cleaning of chips or the like even in a configuration in which a table is rotated. SOLUTION: T grooves 2 for fixing the workpiece directly or through a fixture are arranged, recesses 3 each having a center on a center axis of an opening 2a and a diameter larger than the width of the opening are arranged at suitable places of the openings 2a of the T grooves formed at a workpiece mounting surface. The workpiece or the fixture is fixed to a table 1 using a fixing means comprising a bolt engaging with the recess 3 and a T groove nut to be inserted into the T groove 2.
