<p>The facility-searching device is provided with an input device (4) for inputting instructions, a map information memory device (5) that stores facility information that includes map information as well as facility names and categories, a facility name-extracting unit (11) that extracts an indicated facility name from the input device, a facility-searching unit (12) that uses the facility name extracted by the facility name-extracting unit as a search key and searches for facilities having names that include the search key from facility information stored in the map information memory device, a list-generating unit (13) that generates a list wherein names of multiple facilities having the same name and the same category as the facility extracted by the facility name-extracting unit, from among the facilities searched by the facilities searching unit, are shown on one line as a common facility name, and a display device (8) that displays the list generated by the list-generating unit.</p> |
