PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when intentionally matching a steering to a fixed steering angle, a suitable assist according to the fixed steering angle is difficult to perform. SOLUTION: The method includes: in order to move a vehicle while the steering is fixed, obtaining the fixed steering angle of the steering to be set; obtaining a current steering angle of the steering; controlling a torque given to the steering based on the fixed steering angle and the current steering angle by a first control method when the fixed steering angle is not the maximum steering angle of the vehicle; and controlling the torque given to the steering based on the fixed steering angle and the current steering angle by a second control method different from the first control method when the fixed steering angle is the maximum steering angle of the vehicle.
