PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electric machine capable of highly efficiently cooling a coil end portion and lubricating components working in accordance with various purposes. SOLUTION: A motor generator as a rotating electric machine includes a coil end cover 170 forming a cooling oil path 172 around the coil end portion. The coil end cover 170 is provided on upper part of a direction perpendicular to a central axis 101 of the stator core 152, and includes an oil discharge port 170i for discharging the cooling oil from the cooling oil path 172. Further, the motor generator includes an oil guiding rib 321 provided on the coil end cover 170 and used to guide the cooling oil discharged from the oil discharge port 170i to a space 330 more inside than the stator core 152.
