PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing base capable of reducing the incidence of printing failures by increasing the rate of transfer from an engraved plate for gravure printing or a blanket for offset printing. SOLUTION: A resin that is swelled by a solvent to exhibit tackiness is used as a receiving layer having a thickness of 0.1 to 50 μm. When a conductive paste is printed onto the receiving layer, the receiving layer is swelled by the solvent contained in the conductive paste to exhibit tackiness (adhesion), thereby allowing the adhesion between the receiving layer and the printed conductive paste to be increased.
