<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target characteristic line specification device, an information output device, a target characteristic line specification method and a target characteristic line specification processing program, allowing accurate specification of a target characteristic line that is a target. <P>SOLUTION: The target characteristic line specification device has: an input means for inputting data of an image; a characteristic point extraction means for extracting a plurality of characteristic points inside the input image; a characteristic line extraction means for extracting a plurality of characteristic lines inside the image; a target characteristic line specification means for specifying, from the plurality of extracted characteristic lines, a characteristic line having a length not less than a prescribed length, and overlapping or adjacent to the characteristic points not less than a prescribed number as the target characteristic line that is the target; and a target characteristic line data storage means for storing target characteristic line data showing the specified target characteristic line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
