PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an inner circumference of a cylinder from being worn away by decreasing a leak gap between sliding surfaces of the plunger and cylinder to restrain a plunger from tilting. SOLUTION: The plunger 10 is inserted slidably into a bottomed tubular cylinder 9, a return spring 19 is provided for energizing the plunger 10, an oil feeding path 13 is provided in the cylinder 9 for introducing a working oil into a pressure chamber 12 surrounded with the plunger 10 and the cylinder 9, an orifice 14 is provided at an end of the oil feeding path 13 on a side of the pressure chamber 12, and a leak gap 16 is provided between the sliding surfaces of the plunger 10 and cylinder 9. Then, when the plunger 10 moves in such a direction as to be pressed into the cylinder 9, the viscose resistance of the working oil outflowing from the pressure chamber 12 through the leak gap 16 and that of the working oil outflowing from the pressure chamber 12 to a feeding path 13 through the orifice 14 cause a damping force.
