<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly determine the unbalance though the vibration greatness varies according to how the laundry has the water when it is dewatered. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The determination value for determining the unbalance (S18) during dewatering operations after shower rinsing is changed from a determination value corresponding to the weight of the laundry which is detected before the washing cycle into a determination value for a lighter weight of the laundry and then dewatering operations are performed. Also, during dewatering, the unbalance is determined at a stage where the drum is rotated at a low speed.
