<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel with a shift unit reduced in size. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A sleeve is disposed on an opposite side to a drive source of a shift lens, and a U-groove is disposed on a side of the driving source to make the distance between the shift lens and the drive source the shortest. A stopper is provided in an optical axis direction on the side having no U-groove of the drive source, so that the interval to the stopper is narrower than the clearance between a coil and a magnet.
