The fitting (1) has a fitting part (3) mounted at another fitting part (2) by a fastening unit, where the fitting parts are manufactured from sheet metal by die cutting and bending. One of the fitting parts (3) is detachably connected with the other fitting part (2) by two bars (11) that are implemented as preset breaking points. The former fitting part (3) is adjustable upwards and horizontally relative to the latter fitting part (2) in a separated position. The latter fitting part (2) has a plate-shaped section (4), where ribs and channels (6) are provided at the plate-shaped section. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a multi-part fitting.
