<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an approximate tactic material recommendation system capable of easily recommending a material having a tactile feeling approximated to a desired tactile feeling. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Virtual material parameters and actual material parameters are stored by data structure of a map in a data storage part 3. A recommended material determination part 4 determines one or more materials having an actual material parameter close to one virtual material parameter corresponding to a word expressing one or more tactile feelings input from an input part 1 from a plurality of virtual material parameters and a plurality of actual material parameters stored in the data storage means 3, as a recommended material.
