The method involves moving a liftable and/or lowerable base (11) in a container (1) i.e. box, where the box is made of plastic and comprises a wooden plate. The base is lifted by a bag (8) that is filled with a pressure medium i.e. compressed air, where the base is arranged in the box. The supply of pressure medium into the bag is regulated for obtaining desired speed for lifting the base. The regulation of supply of pressure medium into the bag is stopped by a hose (12), where the bag is connected to the hose by a valve. An independent claim is also included for a device for providing, representing and/or emptying a container, comprising a liftable and/or lowerable base.
