The plant has an energy storage i.e. emergency power supply unit, with a rotor blade and a servomotor for adjusting the rotor blade. The energy storage comprises a lithium-ion capacitor. The energy storage serves for energy buffering in order to realize regulated power output to a network to be supplied. The emergency power supply unit provides a required power during emergency shut-down of the plant so as to rotate the rotor blade by the wind.
