PURPOSE: A stable glass sheet and a method for manufacturing the same are provided, which make economic mass production possible. CONSTITUTION: A stable glass sheet manufacturing method is as follows. Glass material with minimum annealing point of 765 deg.C and CTE of the maximum 42x10/ deg.C is provided. The glass material is heated to temperature T1 corresponding to viscosity 1.0x10 poise and is cooled to temperature T2 corresponding to viscosity 1.0x10^15 poise. The cooling speed is CR, wherein CR satisfies CR>=5 deg.C/s. The glass sheet has thickness of the maximum 2.5mm.
