<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop an impedance source inverter when a current state is abnormal. <P>SOLUTION: The power conversion circuit 100 has a secondary battery V<SB>0</SB>, and aggressively utilizes a time segment of short through in a three-phase switching section S<SB>3ph</SB>for voltage stepup of a capacitor. If any one of currents I<SB>ap</SB>-I<SB>cn</SB>exceeds a predetermined positive threshold, it is determined that a current state is abnormal. If the currents I<SB>ap</SB>-I<SB>cn</SB>are positive when a gate command is in an off state, it is determined that the current state is abnormal for each of switch elements Q<SB>ap</SB>-Q<SB>cn</SB>. In this case, a PWM controller (CPU) 101 transmits a command to a gate drive circuit 102 so as to interrupt the three-phase AC output and charge the secondary battery V<SB>0</SB>. Thus, application of the three-phase AC voltage to an outside load is stopped, and energy stored in the output load and electrostatic energy stored in two capacitors C<SB>1</SB>, C<SB>2</SB>are fed back to the secondary battery V<SB>0</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
