<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll body holding shaft capable of holding a coreless roll body in a stable condition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A press-flaring mechanism unit 20 for flaring a roll body 90 from its inner side comprises a screw shaft 22 to be inserted in a body part 10 formed in a cylindrical shape, a slide member 24 which is screwed to the screw shaft 22 and has a groove part 25 inclined toward the center axis, a connection member 26 which is slidably engaged along an inclined surface of the groove part 25 of the slide member 24, and engaged with an engagement hole 16 formed in the body part 10 to regulate the movement of the slide member 24 in the axial direction and the circumferential direction, and a pressing member 28 which is fixed to the connection member 26 and abutted on an inner circumferential surface of a center hole 92 of the roll body 90.
