POLYMER MICELLE WITH ACTIVE COMPONENT ENCAPSULATED THEREIN AND METHOD FOR INHIBITING ELUTION OF ACTIVE COMPONENT

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for stably encapsulating an active component in the inside of a polymer micelle even though the active component is a hydrophilic drug or the like; and to provide a polymer micelle with the active component encapsulated therein obtained by the technique as well. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This polymer micelle with an active component encapsulated therein is formed of a block copolymer having a hydrophilic domain and a hydrophobic domain, where the hydrophilic domain is disposed outside and the hydrophobic domain is disposed inside the polymer micelle, respectively, and an active component with an ionic group and an elution-inhibiting agent comprising a compound having an ionic group with opposite polarity to the above ionic group, are encapsulated in the inside of the polymer micelle having the hydrophobic domain.
