PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small reactor excellent in heat dissipation. SOLUTION: A reactor 1 includes a coil 2, a magnetic core 3 on which the coil 2 is disposed, a resin cover 5 covering the periphery of an assembly 1A of the coil 2 and the magnetic core 3, and a heat dissipater 4 provided near a cooling base B of the assembly 1A. The heat dissipater 4 is integrated with the assembly 1A with the resin of the resin cover 5. The heat dissipater 4 has a fin section 4f immersed in a coolant C in the cooling base B. The reactor 1 is small in size because it does not have a case, and is excellent in heat dissipation because it has the fin section 4 that is directly in contact with the coolant C in the reactor 1.
