Ž<P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 100 includes a facial expression determination processing unit 6 for determining a facial expression detected from inputted image data in a first determination mode or in a second determination mode different from the first determination mode. Further, for the determination mode of the facial expression determination processing unit 6, the imaging device 100 includes a control circuit 11 for setting, either the first determination mode or the second determination mode to the facial expression determination processing unit 6 in response to a predetermined determination condition.
