<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent impairment of game impartiality by accurately providing a lottery random number synchronized with an operation timing of a start lever. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This game machine includes: a numerical value updating means updating a numerical value within a predetermined numerical range; a numerical value retaining means having a first state capable of retaining the numerical value to be updated by the numerical value updating means and a second state unable to retain it and, when receiving an operation to an operation section in the first state, retaining the numerical value to be updated by the numerical value updating means at a timing of receiving the operation; a lottery means adapted to read the numerical value retained by the numerical value retaining means when receiving the operation of the operation section in a lottery mode started when a prescribed number of game media set in the game are inserted, and to execute the lottery processing based on the read numerical value; and a state updating mean executing processing of making the numerical value retaining means the first state. When receiving the operation of the operation section after starting the lottery mode, the numerical value retaining means is in the first state by the execution of the processing of by state updating means.
