The device has a turbine/compressor wheel (2) with an axial extension (4) turned toward a shaft (3) and opened at a front side. The shaft with a longitudinal end engages into the axial extension. The turbine/compressor wheel is fixed on the shaft with a retaining element (5), where the retaining element is designed as a split pin, screw, pin or ring e.g. rotary shaft seal. An isolating element (6) is arranged between the turbine/compressor wheel and the shaft, where the isolating element is designed as an isolating plate arranged at the front side of the shaft.
