PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a light receiving area of a solar cell by forming a front electrode using a direct print method. CONSTITUTION: An emitter layer(20) is formed on one side of a semiconductor substrate. A conductive transparent electrode layer(30) is formed on the emitter layer. A first electrode is formed on the conductive transparent electrode layer and is electrically connected to the conductive transparent layer. A second electrode is formed on the other side of the semiconductor substrate and is electrically connected to the semiconductor substrate. A first electrode includes a first conductive layer(41) and a second conductive layer.
