<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifying circuit capable of driving a BTL connection type speaker with a smaller number of amplifiers than before, and to provide an audio output device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the amplifying circuit 1, an amplifier 11 amplifies an audio signal IN1 and outputs an output signal OUT1 to an output terminal OT1, and an inverter 14 inverts an audio signal IN2; and an amplifier 12 amplifies the output signal of the inverter 14 and outputs an output signal OUT2 to an output terminal OT2; and an amplifier 13 outputs a reference voltage Vref, corresponding to the center voltage of amplitudes of the output signal OUT1 and output signal OUT2 to an output terminal OT3. In the audio output device 100, the output terminal OT1 of the amplifying circuit 1 is connected to a positive terminal T11 of a speaker 101; the output terminal OT2 of the amplifying circuit 1 is connected to a negative terminal T22 of a speaker 102; and the output terminal OT3 of the amplifying circuit 1 is connected to a negative terminal T12 of the speaker 101 and a positive terminal T21 of the speaker 102.
