The present invention relates to a stroke-targeting peptide and use thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to: a stroke-targeting peptide wherein it is represented by an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of sequence numbers 1 to 4; and use of the stroke-targeting peptide. The peptide provided by the present invention is characterized by binding specifically to stroke cells within a living body, and thus it can beneficially be used in stroke-diagnosing markers and kits, and drug-delivery compositions and pharmaceutical compositions targeting stroke, and stroke-imaging compositions.
