PURPOSE: A lever-type connector, a connector assembly and a connection method therefor are provided to secure an enough sufficient contact margin among terminal fittings by preventing an inclination of housing. CONSTITUTION: Two supporting units(24) are symmetrically located. A lever(60) is supported in one of the two supporting units. The lever is selectively mounted in the first mode and the second mode. The first mode rotates toward one side around one supporting part. The second mode rotates toward the other side around one supporting part in the other supporting part. The first and second parts of the lever provide a pressurizing force to the first housing(20) when the lever rotates.
