<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a state in which deodorization and inactivation of allergen has been carried out when a user gets into a vehicle for driving. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomizing device for a vehicle is equipped with a water content supplying means 13 for supplying water contents to a discharge electrode 11, a discharge outlet 17 carrying out electrostatic atomization of the water contents by applying high voltage to the discharge electrode 11 and discharging mist into a compartment, and a control part C controlling electrostatic atomization operation by high voltage application, and it is connected to a power source V for a vehicle without going through an ignition key switch. It is equipped with an operation time setting part 5 for input of an operation start time, the electrostatic atomization operation is started at the operation start time set in the control means, the operation atomization operation is finished after passage of a predetermined time, and if a remaining capacity detected by a detection means for detecting a remaining capacity of the power source for a vehicle becomes a threshold or less, the electrostatic atomization operation is finished without waiting for the passage of the predetermined time.
