The present invention relates to a roast grill and a roaster. Conventional roast grills and roasters have drawbacks in that a convenient gas range cannot be used due to the fat falling from foodstuffs and due to the fact that charcoal is generally used in place of the gas range. However, charcoal also has drawbacks in that smoke and soot is generated when the fat or meat juice falling on the fire burns during roasting and are bad for the health. To solve these problems, the present invention includes a wave-shaped heating plate (1) and a U-shaped groove rim (5). The wave-shaped heating plate (1) is configured such that waves are tilted in one direction and flame outlet ports (2) are elongated along the valley at the intermediate portion between the floor of the tilted surface and the valley to freely belch out flame. Instead of falling on the charcoal, fat or the like falling from foodstuffs is collected in the U-shaped groove formed in the valley of the wave-shaped heating plate (1) due to the force of the belching flame and a deviation (4) formed by the slope of the top and the bottom of the flame outlet port (2). The height of the U-shaped groove rim (5) is short (9) at the side of a fat outlet hole (7) and tall (10) at the opposite side such that the fat or the like collected in the valley of the wave-shaped heating plate (1) flows toward the U-shaped groove rim (5) of the fat outlet hole (7) side, and the thickness of the bottom of a U-shaped groove (6) of the U-shaped groove rim (5) is thin (11) at the fat outlet hole (7) side and thick (12) at the opposite side such that the U-shaped groove rim (5) is tilted toward the fat outlet hole (7) and fat collected in the U-shaped groove rim (5) is naturally discharged through the fat outlet hole (7). Whereby, fat or the like may not fall from beneath the roaster of the present invention, and thus soot and smoke are dramatically reduced as compared to conventional grills and roasters to protect public health from soot and smoke. Most importantly, the roaster of the present invention can be conveniently used for all types of flare devices such as charcoal or portable gas ranges, and is capable of roasting all types of foodstuffs such as meat or fish. |
