PURPOSE: A composite cycle engine is provided to promote complete combustion through a long time expansion of high temperature high pressure combustion gas. CONSTITUTION: In a composite cycle engine, a scavenging port(3') equipped with an auto valve(3) is formed on the upper part of the left side of a two-cycle piston engine cylinder(1). A rotor(6) in which a plurality of concave buckets(5) are arranged on the perimeter is fixed to the right side of the crank shaft(4). A housing(7) is installed around the rotor. A combustion chamber(8) formed on the upper side of the housing is connected to a first exhaust hole(9). A fuel pipe(11) branched from a fuel valve(10) is installed in the ceiling of the housing. A nozzle(12) with a venturi part is formed toward the rotor is positioned on the bottom of the combustion chamber. A second vent hole(13) is formed on the side wall of the combustion chamber and a second exhaust hole(14) is formed on the bottom of the housing. A vertical compressed air path(16) is formed in the head of a piston(15) and connected to a lower side wall hole(16').
