<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noxious insect evasion illumination apparatus which is reduced in insect attraction property of light and is prevented from changes of light color. <P>SOLUTION: The noxious insect evasion illumination apparatus 1 is provided with a light source part 2 and a filter part 3 to cover the light source part 2. The filter part 3 has a surface 5 having an angle to horizontal direction, and has a polarization function which reduces and permeates an oscillation component 7 in perpendicular direction of the light 6 emitted from the light source part 2. The illumination apparatus 1 irradiates a polarized light 9 which has the oscillation component 8 in horizontal direction more than the oscillation component 7 in vertical direction. Since this polarized light 9 has a low insect attraction property, the insect attraction of the light can be reduced. Further, since the insect attraction property is reduced by polarization without controlling the spectral distribution of the light 6 emitted from the light source part 2, the change of light color can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
