<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump device that can extract liquid left inside a hose, discharged from a pump to the hose without flowing the liquid through the pump. <P>SOLUTION: A first open/close valve 9 intervenes between a discharge pipe 8 and a coupling hose 10 that communicate a pump 2 and a nozzle 11. A supply pipe 13 communicates the discharge pipe 8 and a supply port 20b of an ejector 20, and a second open/close valve 14 is intervened in the supply pipe 13. A suction pipe 15 communicates the coupling hose 10 with a suction port 20d of the ejector 20, and a third open/close valve 16 is intervened in the suction pipe 15. The first open/close valve 9 is closed, the second open/close valve 14 and the third open/close valve 16 are opened, and fluid is supplied to the supply port 20b from the pump 2, to accelerate the fluid in the ejector 20 to generate negative pressure around the accelerated fluid. The fluid inside the coupling hose 10 and a spray hose 4a is sucked by the ejector 20 via the suction pipe 15 through the negative pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
