<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that heat dissipation is deteriorated since the surrounding of an electric motor becomes an air layer, in an air blower in which the electric motor is held via an anti-vibration rubber. <P>SOLUTION: An electric motor 10 is anchored in a casing 12 while being sandwiched by a retaining frame 13 and a retaining base 14 via anti-vibration rubbers 15a and 15b containing fillers as cushioning material from an axial direction of a rotating shaft 9. The retaining frame 13 is located on a heating element 3 side, and the retaining base 14 is located opposite to the heating element 3. The coating part 16 of the heating element 3 of a jacket 7 is configured such that heat transfer is performed to the retaining frame 13 via the anti-vibration rubber 15a. Heat generated from the heating element 3 is transmitted to the retaining frame 13 by the anti-vibration rubbers 15a, and is dissipated from the retaining frame 13.
