<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately recognize identification information when visible information and the identification information are formed over the same medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This image forming device includes a first image forming unit having a developing device which develops an image carrier and an electrostatic latent image using an invisible developer; a second image forming unit having a developing device which develops an image carrier and an electrostatic latent image using a visible developer; an exposure device which forms the electrostatic latent images; a transfer unit for transferring a developer image onto a medium; a fusion device for fusing the developer image onto the medium; a receiving unit for receiving identification information and image data from a higher-level device; a data identifying unit for identifying the identification information and the image data; a first print control unit which performs printing based on the identification information; and a second print control unit which performs printing based on the image data.
