<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for a thrust bearing and the thrust bearing, capable of stably holding a rolling element, and capable of increasing load capacity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An engaging part of becoming large in a distance in the peripheral direction toward the second annular part side in the radial direction, is formed in an end part on the second annular part 22 side in the radial direction of a column part 23. A second annular part 22 is formed with a recessed part 47 having an engaging object part engaging with the engaging part with a shape corresponding to a shape of the engaging part, a first movement limiting part for limiting one side movement in the axial direction of the engaging part, and a second movement limiting part for limiting the other side movement in the axial direction of the engaging part.
